Hongqi EH7, a new energy model developed by China FAW Group, recently obtained the European Union-Whole Vehicle Type Approval (EU-WVTA) issued by the Société Nationale de Certification et d'Homologation (SNCH). This marks that Hongqi EH7 meets the latest mandatory entry regulations of the EU, enabling it to be exported to EU member countries and other global regions that recognize EU-WVTA certification.
The acquisition of the certification lays a solid foundation for Hongqi brand to enter the European market, further demonstrates the Hongqi brand’s determination to accelerate its overseas market development and seize the market opportunities, and consolidates its position as China’s first luxury automotive brand.
It only takes two and a half months for Hongqi EH7 to overcome many difficulties and complete all the tests and successfully obtained the EU-WVTA certificate, which also benefited from the strong support from TÜV Rheinland.
