On October 14, local time, FAW Group’s premium vehicle brand Hongqi held a brand launch event at Paris Motor Show 2024, and kicked off pre-sale of the EH7 and EHS7 at the event.
During the Paris Motor Show 2024, the two Hongqi NEV models attracted the attention of global consumers and became the focus of the Motor Show by virtue of their strong technical strength, excellent product performance, and highly competitive pre-sale prices.
The successful debut of the Hongqi brand at the Paris Motor Show not only demonstrates the deep heritage and technical accumulation in the field of new energy vehicles, but also shows the great influence of Hongqi as the new luxury brand of the world.
Liu Changqing, assistant to general manager of FAW Group and vice president of the Hongqi brand operation committee, explained the overseas development strategy of Hongqi brand to the European automotive media, partners and users, introduced the excellent experience of EH7 and EHS7 in terms of intelligent driving features, comfort and technology, and announced pre-sale of the two models in Europe.
Giles Taylor, vice president of Global Design and Chief Creative Officer of FAW Group, introduced the styling design language of EH7 and EHS7, which blends Eastern and Western cultures and is ahead of the world trend, allowing European media and users appreciate the extraordinary charm of Hongqi in terms of brand culture and aesthetics.
At the press conference, Wang Lingyu, vice general manager of China FAW Import and Export Co., Ltd., handed over the key of EHS7 to Joyce Jonathan, a renowned French female singer, who is the first owner of Hongqi brand in Europe.
In addition, FAW Hongqi officially announced a brand partnership with renowned European fabric manufacturer SCABAL during the Paris Motor Show 2024. In the future, the two parties will work together to create co-branded products, providing a richer and more prestigious experience for Hongqi customers in Europe and all over the world.
As the globally marketed vehicle models of FAW Hongqi, the EH7 and EHS7 were specifically designed and developed to meet the needs of customers in Europe and even around the world in terms of excellent driving control, comfortable experience and technological configurations.
Equipped with the advanced technology of Hongqi TianGong electric platform, the EH7 and EHS7 boast industry-leading features, such as a combined peak power output of 365kW, a 0-100 km/h acceleration in 3.5 seconds, a braking distance of just 35.3 meters from 100-0 km/h, and a charging time of 20 minutes from 10% to 80%.
Other advanced technologies and comfort features include speed-sensitive power steering, variable steering ratio, IDCS variable damping vibration reduction, 63.6-inch AR-HUD and hand-stitched Nappa leather seats.
In the next five years, FAW Hongqi will launch more than 10 new products in the European market, bringing European and global users more popular vehicles with richer driving pleasure, more comfortable riding experience and more surprising technological experience.
Hongqi will continue to make every effort to build and consolidate the brand position of "new luxury brand of the world" and set up a new benchmark for Chinese national brands to “go global”.
