On November 5, FAW Group Corporation signed an MoU (memorandum of understanding) with Volkswagen AG on importing complete vehicles and auto parts at the seventh China International Import Expo (CIIE), which kicked off on November 5 in Shanghai. Qiu Xiandong, chairman of FAW Group and secretary of the CPC FAW Group Committee, and Ralf Brandstätter, chairman and CEO of Volkswagen China, attended the signing ceremony.

According to the MoU, FAW-Volkswagen will begin importing select parts and complete Audi vehicles from Volkswagen AG in 2025, aiming to enhance the quality of travel experience for Chinese consumers with diverse product lineup.
